Bramleys is located inside the grounds of the University of Nottingham within our Orchard Hotel. Follow these steps to make sure you reach us: 

  1. Use our postcode to get to The Orchard Hotel: NG7 2RJ
  2. Once you arrive at the University of Nottingham campus, go through the barrier entrance
  3. Follow the road around, using signs for The Orchard Hotel.

Yes! Bramleys Restaurant is fully accessible, with step-free entry from the car park, spacious seating, and accessible restrooms. If you have any specific needs, feel free to contact us, and we'll be happy to assist!

Bramleys Restaurant is located just a short distance from both Beeston and Nottingham, as well as Wollaton Hall and Deer Park, famous for its inclusion in the Batman film Dark Knight rises.

Yes! We happen to be located within the Orchard Hotel so if you would like to make a night of it we can offer accommodation on a room only or bed and breakfast basis

As a pet friendly hotel we do allow pets in our bar and lobby area but, with the exception of assistant dogs, we don't allow pets in Bramleys Restaurant. 

At Bramleys, we focus on ethical sourcing, supporting local producers, and reducing waste. We partner with Nottingham businesses like 200 Degrees Coffee and Castle Rock Brewery to champion sustainability. All of our crockery is made in the Steelite factory in stoke-on-trent, a business renowned and awarded for their sustainability practices. In addition, all our glassware in the restaurant and bar area has been made with 0 emissions. Learn more on our partnerships page.

Bramleys Restaurant

Reservations are not required, but they are recommended, especially during peak hours. Walk-ins are always welcome, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you! If you are looking to book a large group, please contact us to discuss your requirements. 

Our menu has dishes suitable for vegetarian, vegan options and gluten free guests. If you have any allergies or special dietary requirements, please let our team know and they will be happy to assist.

Our dress code is casual and comfortable. Feel free to come as you are!

We currently offer 20% discount to University staff.

Our breakfast menu is reserved for guests of The Orchard Hotel only. To dine with us for breakfast, guests must state their room number on arrival and then help themselves to the buffet section provided.

Yes - show your valid tram ticket or pass when you dine with us and enjoy 10% off your bill, available Sunday to Thursday, or enjoy 20% off food and drink for all University of Nottingham Staff for leisure bookings. Please show a valid ID card during your meal with us to claim the discount.

Celebrations

At Bramleys, we celebrate the festive season with a special Christmas menu available throughout December - perfect for family meals, office parties, or catching up with friends.

We also host our popular Afternoon Tea with Santa, a magical experience for families where children can meet Santa and enjoy a festive afternoon tea in a beautifully decorated setting.

Our maximum capacity is 120. 

As the restaurant is located within a hotel, we cannot offer exclusive use. However if you are looking for something more private we do have our adjoining Brailsford function room. 

Yes we can look at creating a bespoke menu for an event or special occasion. Please contact us to discuss this further.

Yes, we can accommodate decorations for special occasions. 

We do have our own inhouse AV team that can assist with your requirements. We do not provide entertainment but can work with you to arrange this. 

Yes, we provide free parking to all guests and have 8 EV charging points (chargeable). 

We ask customers to provide 24 hours notice if they are no longer able to make it. 

Yes - we offer special graduation packages with a fixed-price set menu, along with cocktails and Pimm’s deals to help you celebrate. Please book early and let us know you’re graduating so we can make it extra special for you.
